December 21, 2012 - End of the World Prophecies

The Ancient Mayans:
The Ancient Mayan calander is the smoking gun - the culture that gives us the strongest indication of an event happening on December 21, 2012 because its calander ends on that date.  Their culture has some mysterious aspects as well as an interesting historical background that may suggest their ancient culture encountered aliens that gave them assistance in leading them to their decision of recording this date as the end of human history.



The Ancient Hopi Indians:

Although no prophecy of the Hopi Indians specifically says December 21, 2012 will be the last day of the planet, many of the Hopi End Times Prophecy elements have been completed in a relatively short period of time.  Will December 21, 2012 be the final ending to the Hopi Prophecy?




Christian Prophecy (Revelations):

The book of Revelations offers a doom and gloom end times prophecy, which many Christians believe is already well underway.  Will the Anti-Christ reveal himself on December 21, 2012?  Or will Jesus return on December 21, 2012?  We examine the prophecy for you to form an opinion on this portion of the prohetic element.

Terrance McKenna (Time Wave Zero):
In the 1980's a counter culture styled figure named Terrance McKenna became interested in the Chinese fortune telling device called the I-Ching.  He noticed that when you mapped out the possible combinations (a hexagram) and overlayed them with all of recoreded history, the peaks and valleys correlated with major human history events.  This is another fortune telling device that points specifically to December 21, 2012 as the end of history.

Propecy of Catholic Popes and Fatima:

Saint Malarchy gave specific prophecies about, and names of the all of the popes that would come in the Catholic Church's history.  He has been accurate up to this point, and we are on the last pope to exist.  Does this mean that St. Malarchy's propecy will come to completion on December 21, 2012?  It is a possibility.  There was also an appearance of the Virgin Mary in 1917 known as "The Prophecy of Fatima" which fortells mankinds fate.  This event was witnessed by hundreds of village members.





The Georgia Guidestones:

In the 1970's, an anonymous man of mysterious origin paid to have a set of granite monoliths put up as a monument in the middle of nowhere in the Georgia countryside.  The monument has all of the astronomical aspects of stonehenge, and has a set of ten instructions for mankind, translated into several different languages.  It is speculated that he built this monument, and these instructions to speak to the post December 21, 2012 world because of its location, message, and astronomy aspects.




Surival and Maps:
Many of the world's richest people are taking no chances for December 21, 2012.  The are investing billions of dollars to ride out the world cataclysm in underground bunkers - while the world's non-elite are obliterated by whatever event comes.  Maps of the world after are speculated based on what would happen if the world reversed its current rotation.  Although these maps show what the would would look like afterwards, during the tranformation, there would be massive tsunamis and volcanos like never seen before.  There would be very little likeyhood of survival.
